SOLD OUT - make your own RING! Sunday November 28 // 12 - 3 PM
*Please note: this is a group workshop, open to anyone - if you prefer to ensure that it's just you and your pals, check out the private workshop listing!*
Looking for something new and different to explore? Join me for a fun, creative workshop where you will be fully guided through the process of making your very own one-of-a-kind adornment!
Beginning with a slice of jeweler’s wax, we will use simple hand tools to create a basic ring form. Then it gets fun! You can add texture, special details, or a nice smooth finish. Whatever your vision is, we'll make sure you leave with something beautiful and well-made that you'll be proud to wear. After the workshop, your wax model will be professionally cast in solid sterling silver (or gold if you're feeling fancy!), and lovingly hand-finished & polished.
NO prior experience is required. Please note that this is *not* a technical workshop for jewelers - we will not be delving into advanced carving techniques, production casting, mold making, etc.
The workshop fee includes all tools and materials required to make one ring in sterling silver, up to 5 mm wide. Looking for something a little bolder / heavier / more statement-y? Rock a wide band / signet ring for an additional $40!
Date & time:
Sunday November 28 - 12 - 3 PM
Duration: the workshop runs for 3 hours. Additional time can be booked if you find you need more time to finish your amazing creation!
Location: Crescent Heights (close to 16th Ave and 2 St NW)
Age: 13+ - just to be on the safe side - we will be working with very very sharp tools!!! If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
